A New Day

The day of everything finally ended. We had seen rain, hail, bright sunshine and a touch of snow.  There isn’t suppose to be snow here. That meant that the camera had to come out into the cold (cold for this neck of the woods!) and do some work.

If there is snow here, it must be documented. It must be proven.

It didn’t stick around for further photo opportunities. Must be because the Earth was too warm…

But that day ended and a new day began. The camera, having spent the night in its warm cozy case, was charged and ready. Here is her morning story.

The grounds were magical. The feelings were of a welcoming cold and anticipation of the warmth of the sun. It will be gone soon. But it is recorded. It is photographed. It is real.

It is a new day.

  5. Unfortunately frost and snow are far too real in these parts – no need to document them. But the frost can make for very pretty photographs…
