The Kid

On March 3, 2012, my daughter graduated from law school. She was valedictorian of her class. I was a tad proud. She had made it through 4 years of on-line classes while working for me as receptionist/file manager/rewrite specialist/go-fer/and client coordinator. (Plus she had to try and keep MY head on straight). It had not been easy.

I watched her grow during those four years from being a smart kid to being a thinking smart kid. (ok. She is an adult…) She could, and still can, tear apart a set of facts and find the issues better than anyone I know. And I thought I was a good “issue spotter”!

Because she went to law school on-line, she had to take the “baby” bar after her first year. She passed it the first time. (most don’t) Three years later she passed the California Bar Exam on her first try. (Few can say that) The only one that doubted that she would do that was her. The rest of the family KNEW she would.

To this day she amazes me.

Here is what I wrote on March 5, 2012:

I still feel the same way.
