The organization that organized the Canta al Mar Music Festival and Competition in Calella, Spain, did some remarkable media coverage. They live streamed several groups in the “Friendship Concert” series.One of our songs was “I’ll Fly Away” an American Spiritual that we sang in the Folk Competition. We sang it first in a Friendship Concert held in the Calella church. The lights you see in the aisle are candles.
We were, as far as we could tell, the only group that sang in multiple musical styles. The audiences loved it. That night was magical.
